Social Ministry’s 2021 Souper Bowl of Caring

We collected individually packaged food for Milton Panther Packs.  Milton Panther Packs provides backpacks of food every weekend, when school meals are not available, for over 340 children in the Milton School District.  We also raised $672.58 for Milton Panther Packs!

Community and church members dropped off donations on Saturday, February 6.  Thank you Terri Cromwell, Kathy Guffey, and Ruby Baker for loading up all of the donations and transporting them to Milton Panther Packs at St. Andrews in Milton.

We filled two car trunks and the back of this truck with food!

4 boy scouts from Boy Scout Troop 300, which meets at UIC, and 2 parents helped us bring all the food in to the church from our vehicles.
